||Morgan Car Club of the Hill Country and Gulf Coast|
Rally starts in Fayetteville.
Morgans are British sports cars that are still handcrafted in Malvern, England. The Morgan Motor Car Company is the oldest family-owned and continuously producing automobile manufacturer in the world. Founded in 1909, the Company began producing 3-wheeled sportscars with motorcycle engines. These sportscars were noted for successful race and rally competition. The 3-wheel version was produced until the early 1950s. In the 1930s the Company added a 4-wheel version of the car. Expect to see 10-12 cars for this rally. The factory only produces 1500 cars per year at the most. Since many Morgans have not survived, see this many together in the United States at a small event is quite unusual.
