Artist Reception at Arts for Rural Texas April 26th, 2014 " Elayne Kuehler: For the Love of Texas Exhibit
ARTS, Arts for Rural Texas invites the community to the Opening Reception for artist Elayne Kuehler at the Ross Gallery on the square in Fayetteville, Saturday, April 26th 2014, from 5 " 7 PM.
A native of Baton Rouge, Elayne has spent her life studying and perfecting the capture of nature s beauty in plush landscapes and brilliant still lifes. Known for being a romantic realist, Kuehler strives for the truthfulness of colors and designs that only nature provides. This show turns her focus on paintings of our beloved Texas.

20th Annual Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser and Dance  
Saturday May 3, 2014
Central Texas Sounds Polka Band, BBQ beef, pork and sausage, Silent and Live Auction, Dance under the pavilion to Leaving' Sundown, sponsored by Bentwood Ranch.
This fundraiser provides much needed funding since the department operates on donations only. 
At St. John Catholic Church Pavilion ~ Join Us For Small Town Fun and Celebrate Firefighters!

ArtWalk 2014

Art For Rural Texas ARTS "Art Walk" - is a juried fine art show sponsored by ARTS. The show is held each Spring on the lawn of the courthouse square in the historical community of Fayetteville, Texas. This charming small town is located in the gentle rolling hills of south central Texas, halfway between the metropolitan areas of Houston and Austin.Art Walk promotes local and regional artists. There are over 50 participating artists, a schedule of performing musicians and children's art instructions. Over $6,000 in award money is given to the artists elected by a judges panel.In addition to the art, there are wine tastings, food booths and other attractions that make for a wonderful "fresh air" event during the first weekend in May in central Texas. Sponsored by Arts for Rural Texas.

Charles Schorre - The Last Show

The Red & White Gallery is proud to present a collection of paintings by Charles Schorre (1925-1996), an icon of the Houston art scene.  A book on his life and work, designed and published by Jerry Herring in 1997, will also be available.
