Ray Wylie Hubbard Concert to Benefit the Round Top Festival Institute

Join us for an exciting evening as Ray Wylie Hubbard performs on the grand stage of the Festival Concert Hall-one of the most beautiful and acoustically astounding concert halls in the world.  In August 2011, Ray Wylie Hubbard came to Festival Hill to record what would become The Grifter's Hymnal album. The famed country-blues singer/songwriter/musician is returning to Festival Hill on Friday, April 3, 2015 to play an indoor benefit concert to raise funds for the Institute's 2015 Round Top Music Festival. A friend of Festival Hill, Ray Wylie Hubbard became familiar with Round Top Festival Institute after discovering the extraordinary acoustics of the Edythe Bates Old Chapel. He spent a week at Festival Hill recording tracks for The Grifter's Hymnal album, released in 2012.   $35 per ticket, all ages, general seating. ArtWalk On the Square
May 2-3, 2015  May 2nd, 10 AM - 5 PM, May 3rd, 11 AM - 4 PM
ArtWalk is a juried fine art show sponsored by ARTS.  The show is held the first weekend in May on the lawn of the courthouse square in the historical community of Fayetteville, Texas.  This charming small town is located in the gentle rolling hills of south central Texas, halfway between the metropolitan areas of Houston and Austin, an easy drive to a delightful day. ArtWalk promotes local, regional and national artists.  There are over 60 participating artists, a schedule of performing musicians and children's art instruction and activities. Over $6000 in award money is given to the artists selected by a judges panel.
