FEBRUARY

Darden Smith will be performing a benefit concert for ARTS
At the Country Place Hotel in Fayetteville at 7 PM.  Refreshments at 6 PM
Thursday, February 11th

February 4th Darden will be bringing his "Be an Artist" program to area schools as an ARTS sponsored Fine Art Assembly. Darden is a nationally known singer/songwriter who has graciously agreed to perform for ARTS patrons as a gratis fund raiser in support of our many children's programs. He often plays at the Bugle Boy to sold out crowds and this small venue will really be something special.

The concert at 7 PM will be open to the general public and raise funds on a free will donation basis. ARTS would like you, our e-blast friends to join us earlier at 6 PM for delicious appetizers and refreshments and meet and greet this wonderful artist. We want to thank those people who have consistently participated in ARTS' events throughout the years. We truly appreciate your support and hope you can come join the fun that evening.

The food and refreshments will be delicious, the entertainment outstanding, and most importantly the company and friends are the best in Fayette County!

ACT 2016, Presented by ARTS
February 27, 2016
ACT, Artists Changing Tomorrow, is a program designed by and supported by artists and those patrons and sponsors that understand the critical need to maintain the arts. these artists and patrons work tirelessly to "pay it forward."   ACT's  purpose is to raise funds to sustain the arts throughout the world. The ACT International Invitational Exhibition  is held biennially and consists of 100 works of art contributed by artists from across the world.  The exhibit and silent auction raises funds that ARTS, a 501(c)(3) organization, uses to expand art education in an effort to offset the cutbacks in art education in schools.
Since 2010, ACT has raised over $100,000 that has contributed to arts and cultural events for over 6000 children and adults.  This, we believe changes lives for the better for a lifetime and beyond.
Preview the art here.  See our website ARTS or call 979-378-2113 for more information.
